The Arizona State men's golf team is in seventh place at the National Invitational Tournament held at Omni Tucson National after two rounds, while freshman Alejandro Canizares is just four shots off the individual lead. Fourteen schools are competing in the event, which concludes with a single round on Tuesday. The Tucson National Golf Course set layout (par 72, 7,138 yards) is the same for the PGA tour stop, the Chrysler Classic of Tucson.
