PALOS VERDES, Calif. - The Arizona State women's golf team stands in 17th place after the first two rounds of the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge, being held Monday-Wednesday, Feb. 10-12 at the par 71, 5,912-yard Palos Verdes Golf Club.

The Sun Devils shot a 38-over par 322 in Tuesday's second round for a two-day total of 77-over 645 and stand five strokes out of the top 15. Pepperdine continues to lead the tournament after the first two rounds, shooting a 30-over 314 for a two-day total of 598. Pepperdine is trailed by USC (603), Arizona (606), Oklahoma State (607) and UCLA (608) in the top five.

Freshman Alissa Kuczka continues to lead the team individually and moved up one spot into a tie for 27th with a two-day total of 13-over 155 (76-79). Sophomore Erin Tone climbed 11 spots and stands in 56th place after carding a seven-over 78 on Tuesday for a two-round total of 160 (81-78). Senior Blair O'Neal is tied for 67th (84-80=164), followed by freshman Meredith Jones (88-84=172) and sophomore Josefin Gustafsson (82-91=173) who are tied for 86th and 88th, respectively.

Individually, Pepperdine's Katherine Hull leads the field with a two-day total of two-over par 144 (69-75).

The Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge concludes Wednesday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Pacific (9:30 a.m. Mountain). Live scoring for the tournament, which is being hosted by Ohio State University, will be available at www.golfstat.com.
