TEMPE, Ariz. -- The No. 6 UCLA Bruins swept the Arizona State Sun Devils in straight sets Friday night in Pac-10 Volleyball action at Wells Fargo Arena. Game scores were 30-19, 30-25, 30-17 in favor of the Bruins.

ASU lost its fourth straight match to fall to 8-14 overall and 3-10 in Pac-10 play. UCLA avenged a three-game loss to Arizona on Thursday to improve to 20-5 overall and 11-4 in conference action. The Devils return to action tomorrow night to face top-ranked and defending national champion USC at 7 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena.

Redshirt junior Natalie Harris (Tempe) led the Devils with 10 kills. Senior outside hitter Juliana Escobar (Brasilia, Brazil) added seven kills and led the team with 12 digs. Senior libero Courtney Blocher added 10 digs, moving into the ASU career top 10 with 1,108.

The Bruins hit .356 as a team, with three players recording eight or more kills. Brittany Ringel and Colby Lyman led UCLA with nine kills apiece, and Brynn Murphy added eight in the victory. Setter Krystal McFarland led all players with 39 assists and All-Pac-10 libero Chrissie Zartman notched 20 digs for the Bruins.
