TEMPE, Ariz. - Stephanie Ebner's goal in the 77th minute carried Arizona State (10-4-3; 4-2-1 Pac-10) to a 1-0 win over Oregon State (7-9-2; 3-3-1 Pac-10) Sunday afternoon on Senior Day at the Sun Devil Soccer Stadium. The Sun Devils control the tempo for the majority of the match as they out shot the Beavers 17-3 to improve their all-time record to 7-0 against OSU. ASU also ended the regular season undefeated at home with a 7-0-1 mark.

It looked as if senior Patrice Feulner would end her stellar ASU career with another goal in the 60th minute of action when she took a cross from Katie Mahoney and headed it off the top of the cross bar. Two minute later, Kathleen Dely missed a shot just inches wide right and in the 65th minute, senior Amy LePeilbet also just missed a goal off a corner kick from Brittany Cooper.

The Devils final broke through in the 77th minute. Off of another Cooper corner kick, she kicked the ball towards the goal box, but the ball then got re-directed back out where Ebner was standing at the top of the goal box. Ebner then collected the ball and kicked a low drive that skidded across the ground through a crowd of players and pass the diving OSU goalkeeper into the lower right corner.

That was all ASU would need as they managed to keep the ball away from Oregon State for the remaining 12 minutes. OSU's Brianna Monka, Joy Janelle and Jillian Betts all had one shot each; all on goal, but ASU's Kim Bingham stopped all three for the shutout. OSU's Amy Johnson made seven saves on the afternoon.

Up next, the Devils head to the Northwest for the final two Pac-10 games of the season when they take on Washington on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Washington State on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
