  • The All-Time Series: With the 37-17 Trojan victory, USC now leads the all-time series between the two schools 11-9 dating back to ASU's first year in the Pac-10 in 1978. USC has won the last four meetings. USC leads the all-time series at Sun Devil Stadium, 6-5.
  • Hagan's Big Day: Sophomore wide receiver Derek Hagan had a career day, hauling in eight catches for 170 yards. Hagan's previous career high was 95 yards (Oregon; 10/19/02) and six catches (USC; 11/16/02) set during his freshman record-breaking season in 2002. For the season, Hagan has 20 catches for 283 yards (56.6 average per game).
  • Andrew Walter Notes: ASU junior quarterback Andrew Walter threw for a season-high 305 yards and one touchdown while completing 19-of-38 passes.   • Sacked: The ASU offensive line entered the game leading the Pac-10 by giving up only five sacks in the four previous games this year, but surrendered five today vs. the Trojan defense.
  • A Trojan Second Half: The Trojans out-scored ASU 27-7 in the second half en route to the 37-17 win... after being tied 10-10 at halftime, USC came out and out-rushed ASU 144-3 in the second half and out-gained ASU 302-157 in total offense.
  • Stewart Leads Defense Again: Junior safety Riccardo Stewart led the ASU defense once again with 11 tackles (7 solo) and recorded his third interception of the year. Stewart has now led the Devils in tackles in three of ASU's five games and has 47 total tackles for the season. He has recorded 10 or more tackles in three games this year, averaging 9.4 stops per game.
  • Sun Devil Notes: Redshirt freshman tailback Loren Wade rushed for ASU's second touchdown of the year and first since the Utah State victory (Randy Hill)... senior wide receiver Skyler Fulton caught his fourth touchdown of the year... freshman kicker Jesse Ainsworth connected on his second career field goal with a 25-yarder in the second quarter... ASU was 5-for-18 on third-down conversions and 1-for-2 on fourth down... for the season ASU is at 24% on third-down conversions (18-for-74)... senior punter Tim Parker averaged 45.1 yards on his eight punts (361 yards) and had three punts land inside the 20 yard line (two inside 10)... sophomore tailback Hakim Hill led the Devils with 74 yards rushing on 27 carries.
  • USC Notes: USC has now recorded at least one interception in each of its last 15 games... the Trojans took the early 7-0 lead on a four play, 95-yard drive... sophomore QB Matt Leinart threw for 97 yards in the scoring series... seven different Trojans combined for 198 net rushing yards on 36 carries (5.5 per rush average)... LenDale White led the Trojans with 140 yards rushing on 21 carries (6.7 avg.)... Leinart was 13-for-23 passing for 289 yards and two touchdowns... three different Trojans quarterbacks played in the game (Leinart, Matt Cassel, Brandon Hance... USC had a pair of wide receivers record 100-yard games... sophomore Mike Williams (5-108) and Keary Colbert (5-100) each broke the century mark...
