TEMPE, Ariz. - The eighth-ranked Arizona State women's tennis team (9-3, 1-0 Pac-10) continues to post impressive wins, recording their second straight shutout and third of the year, this time a 7-0 win against Purdue University at the Whiteman Tennis Center.

In the nine victories this year, Arizona State has outscored their opponents by a combined score of 53-10.

The Sun Devils jumped to the early 1-0 lead and never looked back as they won two of the three doubles matches for the first point. In singles action, Arizona State dropped only one set the entire dual as they swept all six singles matches.

Up next, Arizona State will travel to Austin to face the Longhorns of Texas on Thursday, March 21 at 12:00 p.m.
