Opening comments
It's your typical NCAA, five-game thriller. We knew our match with
Cincinnati would be fairly close. They're a good team. We have similar
strengths. I think we're pretty lucky, because we got flat in game four.
We were concerned we wouldn't have enough energy to finish the match. But
we came out hard in game five, and I think that's a testament to Julia
Leddy and Juliana Escobar -- especially to Leddy. She wants the ball. I
was very proud of Leddy and Escobar tonight.
On ASU's success in five-game matches (7-1 when they go to five games):
I think you do have a confidence from that. We've always done something by
tweaking the game five lineup. Tonight we rotated three positions to get
different matchups, and maybe that ignited our team a little bit. I have
confidence going into game five; I know we can play a good side out game.
Senior middle blocker Julia Leddy:
If we play Nebraska, I'll be pretty excited. We've played USC and
Stanford, and they're right up there with Nebraska.
Junior outside hitter Juliana Escobar:
I would love to play against Nebraska. Since I played at a community
college, I have always dreamed of played against Nebraska. They're a good
team with lots of experience. What counts tonight is that we lost two
games, but we came back. We believe in ourselves.

Opening remarks
I'm proud of our team. We never gave up. We just came up a little bit
short, but we gave a good effort. I have all the confidence in our team,
but it wasn't our night. You have to tip your hat to Arizona State, they
played well and they're well coached. (Juliana) Escobar and (Julia) Leddy
pretty much killed us tonight.
On coming back after trailing by two games:
We didn't have success in the first two games, but we came back. I thought
we had the momentum but we didn't capitalize on it. It's tough when you
lose the first game, but to come back strong, I am proud of them.
Cincinnati senior middle blocker Bonita Wise
We made a few errors, and then we slowed down a little bit. When they made
errors, we didn't really capitalize on it. We let them make runs and then
we couldn't stop them.
Cincinnati senior outside hitter Trish Ladusaw
It obviously hurts when you get down, and then rally, like we did. We had
it in our minds to fight the whole time, but it just wasn't there.
