WILMINGTON, N.C. - With four individuals finishing the top 20, the Arizona State women's golf team wrapped up the fall season with a third-place showing at the UNC-Wilmington Landfall Tradition, held Nov. 1-3 at the par 72, 6,067-yard River Landing Country Club.

The Sun Devils turned in their three best rounds of the year to finish with a season-low total of 897 (298-303-296). ASU finished in third place, the team's best showing of the year, and was just one stroke behind tournament runner-up Florida State (896) and only four strokes off the lead of tournament winner Tulsa (893).

For the Sun Devils, four of the team's five players garnered top 20 finishes, led by true freshman Alissa Kuczka (Phoenix, Ariz.) who took seventh with a three-round total of six-over 22 (74-76-72). Senior Blair O'Neal (Tempe, Ariz.) and true freshman Sara Jones (Valencia, Calif.) each tied for eighth at seven-over 223 (O'Neal-76-74-73, Jones-72-76-75).

Sophomore Josefin Gustafsson (Falkoping, Sweden) tied for 20th at 229 (76-77-76), and senior Ga?lle Truet (New Caledonia) rounded out the Sun Devil lineup with a tie for 51st (76-81-86=243).

Individually, Wake Forest's Nuria Clau captured medalist honors, finishing at two-under par 214 for the three rounds (71-71-72), one stroke ahead of Florida State's Kristin Tamulis (73-74-68=215).

Arizona State returns to action for the spring season Feb. 10-12 at the TRW Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif.
