? The All-Time Series: With the 27-16 win over the Washington Huskies the Sun Devils improved to 7-2 on the year and a perfect 4-0 in Pac-10 play. The win over Washington snapped a two-game ASU losing streak to the Huskies and cut UW's series lead to 15-9. After a close 33-31 win last year on a last-minute field goal from John Anderson, the Devils got revenge to earn their first win over UW since a 28-7 win in Seattle in 1999. The series is now tied 7-7 in games played in Tempe and ASU earned its first win over UW at Sun Devil Stadium since opening the 1996 Rose Bowl season with a 45-42 win over the Dawgs (Sept. 7).

? A Dominating Effort By Terrell Suggs: Arizona State junior defensive end had a big defensive game with 12 total tackles (five solo, seven assisted), one forced fumble, 6.5 TFL (career high) and a dominating 4.5 total sacks. Suggs' dominating effort tied him for the NCAA single-season record with 17.5 sacks (set in 2001 by Dwight Freeney of Syracuse) and moves him to within 1.5 sacks of the school and Pac-10 record of 19. The NCAA started recognizing sacks as an official statistics in 2000. He is now second in ASU single-season history behind the 19 of Al Harris in 1978 and remains second behind Shante Carver (41; 1990-93) with 37.5 career sacks. His 58 career TFL are now tied for the all-time career ASU record and his 24 TFL in 2002 also ties a single-season record. Listed below are the records of Suggs:

? Air Walter: Following his Pac-10 and school record breaking 536-yard performance last weekend vs. Oregon to earn Sporting News National Player of the Week honors, sophomore QB Andrew Walter had another good game in the win over UW. Walter was 18-for-27 for 184 yards and two touchdowns. For the season Walter is 137-for-241 for 2,187 yards. His 19 TD passes tie him for sixth most in ASU single-season history and his season passing yards are now just 207 yards off the ASU single-season top 5.

? McDonald Adds To TD Totals: With his 15-yard TD reception in the third quarter, junior wide receiver Shaun McDonald continued to make a run for the Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top receiver. McDonald caught three passes for 50 yards and one TD tonight vs. UW. For the season he now has 58 catches for 991 yards and 10 TD. His 10 TD's are tied for fifth (with his 10 from last year) in ASU single-season history and his 21 career TD catches are tied for fourth in the ASU record books with J.D. Hill (1967-70) and John Mistler (1977-80). McDonald also ranks tied for 16th in Pac-10 history with his 21 TD receptions.

? Sun Devils Off To 4-0 Start in Pac-10 Play: For the first time since 1996 the Sun Devils have opened a Pac-10 season a perfect 4-0. ASU was a perfect 8-0 in Pac-10 play that year with only a loss in the Rose Bowl to Ohio State for an 11-1 final record.

? Third Quarter Scoring: With Shaun McDonald's 15-yard TD reception in the third quarter and the defense posting a quarter shutout, ASU has now dominated its opponent in the third quarter by a combined score (nine games) of 121-52.

? Sun Devils Enjoy Sacks Galore: ASU's eight (8) sacks against the Huskies are the most in a single-game this season, breaking the previous high of seven (7) set earlier this year against Oregon State (10/12). Led by the 4.5 sacks from Terrell Suggs, the Sun Devils now have 21 sacks in the last four games.

? Barth Continues Success: Senior place kicker Mike Barth had a solid night, going 2-for-2 with field goals of 38 and 40 yards. Barth is now 14-for-22 on the season and has made five straight field goals including the three he made last week vs. Oregon.

? Pickett Sets UW Completion Record: UW quarterback Cody Pickett set the Husky single-season completions record with his fourth pass completion of the game early in the second quarter. His 214th completion this year passed the old record of 213 set by former Husky QB Steve Pelluer in 1983. Pickett also passed the 1983 team record of 217 completions. Pickett, who came into the game among the NCAA leaders in passing yards, finished the game 18-of-27 for 210 yards, one TD and one INT.

? Everybody Gets An INT: With the second career interception from junior linebacker Solomon Bates, the Devils have now recorded 16 interceptions by 11 different players.

? Notes on Koetter: The win tonight vs. UW improved head coach Dirk Koetter to 37-19 overall as a head coach and 11-9 in his ASU career. Koetter is now 6-0 when his team leads at halftime, 9-0 when leading after three quarters and improved to 8-4 in home games while coaching the Sun Devils. He is now 29-3 in his career when leading after three quarters and at halftime.

? A Washington Connection: The Sun Devils have two players on the roster from Washington, with Skyler Fulton hailing from Olympia and fullback Mike Karney coming from Kent. Fulton caught one pass for nine yards, while Karney had two catches for 25 yards.

? ASU Notes: ASU had scored in 10 of last 12 possessions after the first two drives of the game, counting season-ending kneel down vs. Oregon (three quarters) and the near TD by Hakim Hill... Hill scored ASU's first two TD's to give him seven on the year... senior Mason Unck forced his fifth fumble of the year in the game... ASU had eight different players record a reception after having nine players record completions last week vs. Oregon.
