? Suggs Sack Rampage Continues: The NCAA and Pac-10 leader in sacks, Terrell Suggs, added to his total Saturday night vs. the Beavers with one of ASU's seven total sacks. The junior defensive end now has 13 sacks and 16.5 TFL this year. He is tied for third in ASU's single-season record book with the 13 sacks and remains in second in the career books with 33. With his two TFL vs. OSU he now has 51 in his career, ranking sixth, just two off fifth place.
? Sacks Galore for the Sun Devils: The Sun Devils recorded seven sacks and 13 TFL in the 13-9 win over the Beavers. It is the first time the ASU defense has not allowed a TD in a Pac-10 game since 1998 (also against the Beavers). Jimmy Verdon and Al Williams each had two sacks, while senior linebacker Josh Amobi led the way with three of the 13 TFL.
? The All-Time Series with Oregon State: The Sun Devils improved to 21-7-1 all-time vs. the Beavers, including seven straight wins at home and 10 of the last 11 overall. ASU is now a combined 16-3 all-time vs. OSU at home. ASU has earned a victory or tie in 22 of the last 23 games.
? Battle of the Pac-10 INT Leaders: The Devils now have 14 interceptions this year after recording three vs. the Beavers. Ten (10) different players have recorded at least one INT this year, with junior cornerback Brett Hudson recorded his first INT of the season in the fourth quarter, while sophomore R.J. Oliver had his fourth of the season and linebacker Josh Amobi had his second of 2002. Oregon State had two picks in the game and now has 15 this year to lead the league. OSU's Lawrence Turner picked off his fourth INT of the year in the defeat. Going into tonight's game, Oliver and Turner were tied for the Pac-10 lead with three each.
? More Good Stuff From Fulton: Junior wide receiver Skyler Fulton (Olympia, Wash.) has put together back-to-back weekends after having a career night last Saturday vs. North Carolina. Fulton had three (3) catches for 21 yards tonight vs. the Beavers. For the season Fulton now has 11 catches for 164 yards and two TD's. Before last weekend (UNC), Fulton had only 10 career catches for 75 yards (3 TD's).
? Defense Forces More Turnovers: In the last five games (dating back to UCF) the Sun Devil defense has caused 23 turnovers. ASU had three interceptions and one forced one fumble tonight to bring the season total to 24.
? Barth Connects On Career-Long 50-Yarder: Senior kicker Mike Barth got the monkey off his back, ending an 0-for-7 streak at field goal attempts over 50 yards. Barth connected on a 50-yarder in the first quarter to give ASU a 3-0 lead. Barth's previous career long was a 49-yarder during his sophomore year vs. UCLA at the Rose Bowl (9/30/00). It was also the longest field goal for a Sun Devil since John Baker connected on a 51-yarder vs. Stanford in 1993 (10/23/93). Barth also connected on a 46-yarder in the third quarter.

ASU Game Notes: The Devils are now 216-75-3 (.742) all-time at Sun Devil Stadium... with Barth's career-long 50-yard field goal in the first quarter, ASU scored first in a game for only the second time this season... Josh Amobi's first-quarter interception was the second of the year and career for the senior linebacker... R.J. Oliver intercepted his fourth pass of the year in the third quarter (No. 6 of career)... Hakim Hill's 46-yard TD reception from Andrew Walter on a screen pass in the third quarter was a career-long for the redshirt freshman tailback (previous high was 26 yards and had eight catches)...
