TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Cian Carvalho scored six of her 10 points in overtime as No. 23 Arizona State beat Arizona 70-67 on Saturday.

Betsy Boardman added 16 points and Amanda Levens 14 for the Sun Devils (19-7, 11-3 Pac-10), who completed a season series sweep of the Wildcats for the first time since 1993.

It was the first home loss in 14 games for Arizona (18-8, 8-6), which had won six straight conference games at McKale Center.

The score was tied at 61 heading into overtime, and Carvalho put Arizona State ahead to stay at 68-67 on two free throws with 1:15 remaining. Levens added two more foul shots with 18 seconds left.

Reshea Bristol's 3-point attempt from the top of the key fell short at the buzzer for Arizona, which had beaten the Sun Devils seven consecutive times in Tucson.

Veranda James led the Wildcats with 22 points. Elizabeth Pinckney had 19 points, and Bristol 10 points and 14 assists.
