EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Awvee Storey scored 23 points to lead six players in double figures as Arizona State opened the second half with a 21-4 run to blow out Oregon 99-72 Sunday.
Arizona State (10-10, 2-7) shot a season-high 62 percent and completed an improbable road sweep with its most lopsided defeat of Oregon since a 40-point win in Tempe on Jan. 5, 1981.
The Sun Devils snapped out of an 0-7 start to the conference season with a 73-58 win at Oregon State on Thursday night.
Freddie Jones scored 14 to lead Oregon (12-7, 3-6), which was coming off its best performance of the season in a 79-67 win over No. 7 Arizona. The Ducks endured their worst home loss since falling to Arizona 92-60 on Jan. 28, 1993.
The Sun Devils led 48-38 at halftime, then effectively ended the game early in the second half. Chad Prewitt, who had been slowed by a sprained right ankle, hit three straight baskets, including a 3-pointer.
Donnell Knight then intercepted a pass, converted a layup and got fouled. His free throw capped a 14-2 run and made it 69-42 with just under 15 minutes remaining.
Alton Mason scored 17 points, and Prewitt and Tommy Smith each had 15 for the Sun Devils. Storey added 12 rebounds.
The Ducks, who had been one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the Pac-10, made just 4 of 22 after a 2-for-14 effort against Arizona.
Oregon's inside offense disappeared when forward Julius Hicks, playing on a sprained right ankle, left the game after hurting it again less than eight minutes in. Hicks had seven of Oregon's first 13 points, but didn't score again.
Trailing 15-12, the Sun Devils scored 21 of the next 29 points. Smith got six quick points, and Prewitt hit two consecutive shots. A driving layup by Shawn Redhage put Arizona State up 33-23.
Oregon, which had held Arizona to a season-low 35 percent shooting, suddenly couldn't stop anyone. Brad Nahra, who had been averaging just 1.1 points, made a difficult layup and hit a 3-pointer. Mason's running hook pushed the lead to 48-36.
Oregon cut it to 10 just before the half on a fadeaway jumper by Luke Jackson.
