PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Mike Bush had a career-high 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead Washington State to an 81-61 victory over Arizona State on Saturday.

The Sun Devils (8-7, 0-4) were within four points with just under four minutes remaining before Washington State pulled away.

Bush his three of his career-high 17 free throw shots after Arizona State head coach Rob Evans was ejected from the game with 1:42 left.

For the game, the Cougars (7-6, 1-3) hit 37 of 47 free throws, a school record against conference opponents.

Marcus Moore added 18 points for Washington State, while guard David Adams had 16.

Awvee Storey had 13 points and 16 rebounds for Arizona State. Tommy Smith led the Sun Devils with 14 points, including 8-of-10 from the free throw line.

Washington State outscored Arizona State 21-6 over the last 9:02 of the first half to take a 33-21 halftime lead.
