Soccer Falls To USC In Overtime, 1-0

TEMPE, Ariz. -- With one second left on the clock in the first overtime period, USC's Isabelle Harvey sealed the win for the 13th-ranked USC Trojans (13-5-2, 5-3-1 Pac-10), 1-0, over Arizona State (13-6-1, 4-5-0 Pac-10) today at Sun Devil Soccer Stadium.

At the 104:59 mark, Harvey took the ball in traffic from five yards out and shot the ball into the right side of the net pass ASU goalkeeper Erin Reinke.

Throughout regulation both teams fought each other on the offensive and defensive sides, but neither team could find the net. USC ended the game with 18 shots, while

ASU posted 11. Six of ASU's 11 shots were on goal. USC goalkeeper Lauren Arase made six saves, while Reinke also made six saves.

Arizona State will now wait until 8:00 p.m. MST tonight to see if they will earn its first NCAA bid.
