TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Eddie House scored 12 of his 18 points in the second half as Arizona State beat Colorado State 72-57 Wednesday night.
Awvee Storey added 14 points and Chad Prewitt had 11 for the Sun Devils (3-2), who won for the second time in three games.
Ceedric Goodwyn scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Rams (1-3), who dropped their third straight.
House shook off a 2-for-8 start, making 4-of-8 field-goal attempts in the second half. His jump shot with 9:51 remaining capped a 12-3 run as Arizona State opened a 44-35 lead.
The Rams cut the lead to 51-44 on John Ford's two free throws with 6:32 to play, but Colorado State, doomed by 8-of-25 shooting from the floor in the second half, could pull no closer.
Ford scored the game's first basket before Storey hit consecutive baskets to start an 8-0 Arizona State run.
Colorado State rallied from the early deficit, taking the lead for the last time, 29-27, on Garrett Patik's layup with 2:16 left in the first half before settling for a 32-32 tie at halftime.
