In women's action, senior Casey Murphy of Arizona State bested her younger sister Corrie of USC by .32 seconds in the 200 meter freestyle with a winning time of 2:02.55. Sun Devil sophomore Sarah Baham swam an NCAA qualifying mark of 2:12.48 in the 200 fly, but was edged out by .02 in the 100 by the Women of Troy's Michala Kwasny (1:00.95).
