TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State women's soccer team dropped a crucial Pac-10 match to the Washington Huskies, 2-1 in overtime in Seattle, Washington this afternoon.

Both teams would battle to a scoreless tie for the first 45 minutes.

Washington posted the first goal in the 53rd minute when Anna Biddle, unassisted, nailed a 12-yard shot past ASU goalkeeper Erin Reinke. However, the Sun Devils would pull even in the 64th minute. Senior Kim Wagner took a free kick that junior Karine Inoue headed into the goal from seven yards out.

The game would next head into overtime. Just three minutes into the extra period, Washington's Katy Ward sealed the win with an eight-yard shot into an open ASU net. It was Ward's first goal of the year.

Washington outshot ASU 24-9 and posted six corners to the Sun Devils two. ASU goalkeeper Erin Reinke made seven saves. ASU is now 1-2 in overtime games this season.
