Arizona State took their volleyball match against USC to five games, but fell to the Trojans tonight at the Wells Fargo Arena. Game scores were 15-12, 13-15, 15-12, 6-15, 7-15.
The Sun Devils had four players in double-digits for kills. Amanda Burbridge led the team with 27 kills while Jamie Peck notched 14, Laura Hibsman added 12 and Jami Coughlin had 11. Burbridge also led the team in block solos with three and also had three block assists. Coughlin led the team in digs with 24. ASU outblocked USC 14 to nine.
The Trojans also had four players in double-digits for kills. Antoinette Polk led the team with 20 kills as Jennifer Pahl added 16. Janae Henry had 13 kills and Amber Oliver had 11. Henry also led the team with 20 digs.
Arizona State is next in action Monday, October 25, 1999 in a non-conference game against BYU. The game is slated for a 7 p.m. start at the Wells Fargo Arena.
