Laura Hibsman and Jami Coughlin also notched double-digits in kills with 14 and 12 respectively. Hibsman also contributed seven blocks on the afternoon. Coughlin tallied a match-high 17 digs.
As a team, Arizona State outblocked the Bobcats 13-8. However, the Devils committed 16 service errors over the four games. Southwest Texas also had problems at the service line recording 15 service errors.
Southwest Texas had four players in double-digits in kills with Shenequa Bedford's 18 kills leading the way. Jennifer Dallao had 16 kills with Shauna Stahl and Erin Baetge adding 13 apiece.
Arizona State's setter Becky Sidoti went down with an ankle injury in the third game. She is questionable for next week's matches.
The Sun Devils return to action at the Georgia Tech Courtyard by Marriott Classic in Atlanta, Georgia next week. They will face South Carolina on Friday, September 10 at 9:30 a.m. EST.
