Here are some guidelines and things to know for any media covering Sun Devil events at Desert Financial Arena in 2021-22. Obviously things can change and we are not perfect, so if you see something in here you have a question about let us know. Also there will be updates and changes and we will do our best to keep you updated.
Please let us know how we can help and any improvements we can make. We will do our best.
--All men's parking is digital.
--Parking for women's games will be in lot 59 (NE of the arena) and it is free. No parking pass needed. Just know that it is a little bit further than the structure you are used to.
--Media will enter at the North concourse where there will be a credential left in your name. Please note, this is the area between Desert Financial Arena/Sun Devil Stadium if you were walking to the Carson Center. It is the entrance closest to the media bunker.
--Please make sure you are wearing a face mask when you enter.
--It is recommended that you bring your own refillable water bottle. Unlike years past, we will not be providing water (media will not have access to the media room or any area that is on the floor level). There are areas around the concourse where you can fill your bottle. There will also be a concession stand where you can purchase water or soda. Food is not allowed in the arena.
--Media seating will be in the media bunker (physically distanced/assigned seating). There are not many seats there once you spread folks out
--For MBB and WBB, photographers and videographers can shoot from south baselines. Please don't wander to the north.
--Please plan on accessing all usual info (notes, rosters, stats, etc.) via digital format on websites and StatBroadcast. For opponent rosters, we suggest just gathering from their website.
--All postgame interviews will be conducted in the media room. You can work in the media room or at the scorer table, TV table or back in the bunker.
