Scottsdale CC: Competed for Scottsdale Community College's cross country team for two seasons... earned All-America, all-conference and all-region in 2004... selected all-conference in 2005... team finished sixth at the NJCAA Championships in 2004... earned a place on the SCC Dean's List in 2005.
High School: A 2004 graduate of Payson High School (Payson, Ariz.)... lettered four times each in track & field and soccer, three times in cross country and once in wrestling... captained the cross country, soccer and track & field teams as a senior... on the track, helped the PHS 4x400m (2001) and 4x800m (2002) relay teams capture state championships... 4x400m team also was second in 2002 and fifth in 2003 while 4x800m relay took fourth in 2003... also placed fifth in the 800m and ninth in 1,600m at the 2003 state meet... finished 25th at the state cross country meet in 2003... selected as an area all-star in soccer in 2003.
