Greetings from the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl.

Our preparations are almost complete for the game against Kansas State. The Holiday Bowl Staff has treated us great since our arrival last Saturday. In addition to our daily practice at Patrick Henry High School, which is a field turf surface and the former home of Sun Devils Greg Pieratt and Brett Hudson, we have had position meetings and film study in the hotel.

On Sunday, we spent time at the San Diego Zoo; Monday we had lunch about the USS Pelileu at the Naval Base and today we hit Sea World. The Navy base luncheon and tour was very impressive and humbling for us all. To see the discipline and dedication necessary to operate a ship of that size really makes you think about those people that are charged with defending our freedom every day.

Some of the players and coaches attended the local FCA Chapter breakfast yesterday along with about 400 local chapter members. Grayling Love shared his testimony, as did one of the Kansas State players. Very impressive.

I just want to take a moment, on behalf of the ASU Football Family, to wish all Sun Devil fans, alumni and boosters a safe and happy holiday. We hope to see many of you on Friday night at Qualcomm Stadium. Bring a Maroon and Gold coat!

Merry Christmas and GO DEVILS!
