It's amazing what a win in the Orange Bowl can do.
The Arizona State Sun Devils jumped 10 spots to No. 14 in the latest AP poll. ASU wasn't ranked by the coaches in their ESPN/USA Today poll, but the Sun Devils are slotted 17th this week.
Among their Pac-10 bretheren, only Washington at No. 2 and 3 is ranked ahead of ASU. Conference front-runner Washington State is 19 and 20 while Stanford (21/23) and UCLA (24 AP) are also ranked.
ASU returns home Saturday for its final nonconference contest of the season against BYU.
