Phoenix Municipal Stadium is the home of Sun Devil Baseball. This historic ballpark has been a staple of the local baseball scene since 1964.
Originally built for professional teams, it became ASU's home field for the 2015 season, offering a premier college baseball experience.
The stadium features seating capacity of more than 7,000, scenic views of the Papago Mountains, state-of-the-art training facilities and a vibrant game-day atmosphere. It has hosted numerous legendary players and continues to be a key venue for Sun Devil Baseball fans and the community.

Stadium highlights and history
Phoenix Municipal Stadium, commonly known as "Phoenix Muni," has been a staple of Arizona’s baseball scene since its opening in 1964. Located near the picturesque Papago Mountains, it has hosted numerous professional, collegiate and amateur baseball games over the decades.
- Originally built as a spring training facility, Phoenix Muni served as the home for several MLB teams.
- The San Francisco Giants were the first team to use it for spring training from 1964 to 1981.
- The Oakland Athletics took over the facility in 1982 and used it for spring training until 2014, when they moved to Hohokam Stadium in Mesa.
- In 2015, Sun Devil Baseball moved in, making it their official home after leaving Packard Stadium, which had been their home since 1974.
- ASU renovated the stadium, adding modern training facilities, improved seating and enhanced fan amenities to align with the program’s rich baseball tradition.
- ASU's program, which has produced more than 100 MLB players, continues to develop top-tier talent at the stadium, such as Spencer Torkelson.
- Over the years, Phoenix Muni has hosted countless MLB stars, including legends like Reggie Jackson, Rickey Henderson and Barry Zito during the Athletics' tenure.
