-----
SWIM & DIVE (Feb. 8/Tempe)
The Sun Devil Swim and Dive teams had one of their best performances to date against rival Arizona. The women's team defeated the Wildcats 181-103. The men dominated as well, with a 202-92 victory. This was the largest margin of victory for both teams since the 1998 meet between the two schools. Both the men's and women's teams were able to prevent the Wildcats from winning a single event. Freshman Lindsay Looney swam the 200yd Butterfly at 1:55.39, the fastest time in Sun Devil history.

In one of the wildest Sun Devil games in recent memory, ASU fell behind 37-15 with under six minutes left in the first half, went on a 15-6 run to close the half, scored the first 10 points of the second half and rode Remy Martin's 24 points to its 24th halftime deficit comeback under Bobby Hurley. This was Martin's seventh straight game with at least 20 points. Rob Edwards added 15 points while Alonzo Verge Jr. added 13 off the bench, including the game-winning drive with about 10 seconds remaining. ASU got 20 points off 18 Wildcat turnovers and won despite shooting .389 from the field (28-of-72), 6-of-29 (.207) from three and 4-of-9 (.444) from the free throw line. This win granted the Sun Devils a half point towards the Territorial Cup standings.
