WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -
As Arizona State softball preps for its ninth-consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament, junior Dallas Escobedo picked up Pac-12 Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week accolades on Monday morning.

Escobedo has now earned Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week honors three times this season and five times in her career. With the weekly accolade, ASU has seven conference honors this year and 79 in program history.

The ace picked up one win and one save against No. 3 Oregon in the regular-season final series.  Escobedo held the 2013 Pac-12 Champion Oregon team to a .119 batting average and struck out 19 Ducks. She allowed just two runs in 13.0 innings for a 1.08 ERA.

In three innings on Friday, Escobedo fanned five for her second save of the year. She closed out the series striking out four, three looking, in three innings of relief in the series finale.

For her career, Escobedo has 86 wins and is just two shy of tying second all time at ASU in the category. Her season tally of 25 wins ties her for eighth in single-season records and her 289 strikeouts is seventh. Entering the weekend she ranked 13th nationally in strikeouts per seven innings (9.6), ninth in total strikeouts and 20th in wins.
