The transfer portal is a 365/24/7 thing in college athletics. It is here to stay, along with instant eligibility and the NIL. Student-athletes now have the ability to make change and do it fast. There is now more roster movement, and someone playing four years at one school won’t be a regular occurrence. So we decided to do a list of those that have stuck with the Maroon and Gold only in 2026-27.
Below, listed alphabetically, are Sun Devils who will compete at ASU in their fourth year in 2026-27 (and some of them in their fifth year due to an extra year). We don’t take them for granted, as they are Sun Devils from the start and through the ASU finish, and never put on another collegiate uniform and have remained here for more than three years.

Tony Achille - Ice Hockey - Hingham, Mass.
Overcoming Hodgkin’s Lymphoma as a teenager, Tony Achille has appeared in 38 career games as a Sun Devil and has tallied three assists in his career for three points, all as a freshman in the 2023-24 season. He has five blocks to add to his career total entering his senior season.
Achille tallied his first collegiate point, an assist, vs. Cornell during the Adirondack Winter Invitational in Lake Placid on Dec. 30, 2023, and an assist in the game-opening goal vs. Harvard at the Desert Hockey Classic on Jan. 5, 2024.

Zoe Mari Adam - Triathlon - Salinas, Puerto Rico
Mari Adam has raced in three national championships in her first three seasons and led ASU to one team title.
She was the team’s fourth finisher in the 2025 national championship following her 1:04:33 time, placing 14th on the day.
She had a career-high 7th-place finish at the Duel in the Desert (30:28.74) as a junior.

Keira Biwer - Lacrosse - Highlands Ranch, Colo.
Biwer worked her way into a starting role on the defense for the Sun Devils in 2026.
After starting just two games in 2025 - though appearing in 13 - she started all 18 games as a junior defender and saw a career-high six caused turnovers.

Britney Brown - Triathlon - O'Fallon, Ill.
Brown has raced in two national championships in her first three seasons at ASU, and has had a career-high finish of #21 in 2025 following a 34th-place finish in 2024.

Kyson Brown - Football - Lancaster, Texas
BA, Interdisciplinary studies/design studies and real estate
It will be great to have Kyson Brown back. He committed and signed with ASU and Coach Dillingham when the program was coming off a 3-9 season, stuck with the program after a 3-9 season in his first year, and then was a huge part of the 2024 Big 12 title team.
The Lancaster (Texas) high school product has played in 30 games and rushed for 563 yards on 114 carries (4.9 yards per carry) with a pair of rushing touchdowns, both at Oklahoma State on Nov. 2, 2024.
His top career marks are 18 carries (vs. UCF on Nov. 9, 2024, when Cam Skattebo was out with injury), 100 rushing yards (at Arizona on Nov. 30, 2024, that included a career-best 38-yard run) and six receptions (vs. Northern Arizona on Aug. 30, 2025).
He will earn his BA in interdisciplinary studies with concentrations in design studies and real estate this summer.

Sidney Clement - Triathlon - Vancouver, B.C., Canada
Clement has raced in three national championships in her first three seasons and led ASU to one team title.
2025 saw her finish third in back-to-back races during the regular season before becoming the team’s first finisher crossing the finish line in 1:03:20 to earn fifth place and CTCA All-American First Team honors.

Lia Csulak - Women's Swimming - Érd, Hungary
A distance swimmer for the Sun Devils, Csulak was a podium finisher in the 400 IM at the 2026 Big 12 Championships and was seventh in the 1650 free in 2025 at the conference championships. She set a personal best in the 200 fly in 2025 Big 12 Championships. She is a two-time All-Big 12 Winter Academic Honor Roll recipent.

C.J. Fite - Football - Tatum, Texas
BS, business entrepreneurship
Coach Kenny Dillingham has often stated how wonderful C.J. Fite is both on the field and off. The senior from Texas has played in 38 games in his Sun Devil career and has racked up 76 tackles (40 solo).
He had a career-best eight tackles in the Sept. 21, 2024, game at Texas Tech and had two of his 12 tackles-for-loss (37 yards) at Baylor on Sept. 20, 2025, in the season-opening road win.
He went from a 3-9 season to a Big 12 champion (11-3) in his first two years and helped lead ASU to eight wins in 2025.

Reece Grady - Men's Swimming - Macclesfield, England
A distance swimmer from across the pond, Grady won the 1500m and 800m freestyle events at the Great Britain Aquatic Swimming Championships in April. The four-year Sun Devil has competed in nearly every meet since joining the team and had a third place finish at the 2026 Big 12 Championships in the 500 free (3:44.55), setting a personal best.
Grady was a podium finisher in the 1650 free in the past three conference championships he has competed in and helped the Sun Devils win three straight conference titles. Grady was named to the Big 12 Winter Academic Honor Roll the past two seasons.
Kayden Hayes - Women's Diving - Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
Hayes won the teams first diving individual conference title since 2018 when she won the platform diving 2025 Big 12 title as a sophomore, scoring 251.60 points. In 2026, she earned a silver medal in platform diving at the Big 12 Championships, scoring 454.10 points and helping the women's team earn its second straight conference championship. Hayes is a two time selection (2025, 2026) on the All-Big 12 Winter Academic Honor Roll.

Halle Gregoire - Gymnastics - Moorhead, Minn.
Major: Special education
Gregoire has competed for the Gym Devils all three of her seasons so far, competing primarily on vault and floor.
She has three event titles on each event, and she has notched a 9.900 or better twice on vault and five times on floor.

Ilya Kharun - Men's Swimming - Las Vegas, Nevada
The two time bronze medalist from the 2024 Paris Olympics (100 & 200m fly) has pushed the program to national promidence and is one of two swimmers (Leon Marchand) in program history to win multiple individual NCAA championships. He won the 200 fly last March in 1:37.66 and was part of four relays that won NCAA titles, propelling the Sun Devils to a fourth place finish. Kharun is a 16-time All-American and was the 2025 U.S. Open champion in the 50 fly (22.98). Additionally, Kharun is a 12-time Big 12 champion, a six time Pac-12 champion and was named Big 12 Swimmer of the year for the second straight season. He has represented Canada on at the World Aquatic Championships, notably, winning gold in the 50m and 200m fly at the 2025 World Championships in Shanghai last summer. Kharun is a two time All-Big 12 Winter Honor Roll recipent and was named CSC Academic All-American. In January, Kharun switched his nationality to the United States, vying for a spot on the olympic team in 2028.

Fifa Laopakdee - Men's Golf - Rayong, Thailand
Fifa Laopakdee earned 2026 Big 12 second-team honors with three top-10 and six top-20 finishes during his junior campaign. He competed in each of the first 11 events of the season before taking a break to play in the 2026 Masters and was co-champion at the Desimone Invitational (March 2026) thanks to a 203/-13 performance. He overcame a six-shot deficit in the final round to win the 16th Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship in a playoff against Japan's Taisei Nagasaki in October of 2025, as he birdied his final five holes to force the playoff and become the first Thai winner of the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship and the first Thai amateur to qualify for the Masters Tournament. He helped ASU qualify as the No. 1 seed for match play at the 2025 NCAA Championships and won his match against Ole Miss’ Cameron Tankersley, 4&3.

Grace Lindberg - Women's Swimming - Shoreline, Washington
Member of Barrett, The Honors College and a 2026 CSC Academic All-District honoree. Lindberg is a two time 2026 Big 12 champion in the 400 and 800 free relays, helping her qualify for the NCAA Championships. The Shoreline, Washington, native had a career best season by setting multiple personal best times at the Big 12 Championships with a 1:45.35 time in the 200 free. As a sophomore, she was a podium finisher in three events - 500 free, 200 free, 200 fly - helping the team win its first Big 12 Championship. Lindberg was named to the Big 12 Winter Academic Honor Roll the past two seasons.

Jillian Neal - Volleyball - San Diego, Calif.
Major: Criminology and criminal justice
Neal has been a contributor in all of her seasons at Arizona State, primarily as a serving specialist.
In her sophomore year in 2024, she led the team in aces with 36. Heading into the 2026 season, she has 69 total aces.

Lilia Purler - Gymnastics - Holt, Mo.
Major: Media arts and sciences
Primarily competing on vault and floor, Purler has contributed in each of her seasons so far as a Gym Devil.
She has three event titles on vault and one on floor. On vault, her career high is a 9.900, and on floor, it’s a 9.875.

Alexa Reyna - Women's Swimming - White Plains, New York
A distance swimmer for the Sun Devils has made three appearnces at the NCAA Championships and is a three time Big 12 champion in her career. Last March, she set a personal best and won the 400 IM title in 4:09.22. Then, she secured two silver medals in the 500 free and the 1650 free at the 2026 Big 12 Championships. In her sophomore season, she won the 500 free title in 4:39.24 and was on the winning 800 free relay team, helping the team win its first Big 12 Championship in 2025.

Patience Rhodes - Women's Golf - Bath, England
Patience Rhodes earned 2025-26 Big 12 Player of the Year and has 14 top-10 and 20 top-20 finishes in three seasons in Tempe. She has been key as the Sun Devils have advanced to three straight NCAA Championships, making the top-15 cut in 2025 and 2026. She earned second-team All-America honors by Golfweek and GCAA in 2024-25 as her seven top-10 finishes helped ASU notch three teams wins that season.

FIlip Senc-Samardzic - Men's Swimming - Toronto
The Toronto native has competed for Canada at a number of World Aquatic events throughout his career. Semc-Samardzic is a two time CSCAA All-American for his appearances on the 800 free relay team at the NCAA Championships.
He has earned two Big 12 titles as a swimmer on the 800 free relay team the past two seasons and gathered a bronze medal in the 100 fly last March. At the 2025 Big 12 Championships he earned silver in the 100 fly and added two podium finishes in the 200 fly and the 100 free. He was named team captain for the 2024-25 season and was part of the 2024 national championship team as a freshman.

Kyle Smolen - Ice Hockey - Crystal Lake, Ill.
A co-captain from the 2025-26 season returns to the team, donning 106 career games in the Maroon and Gold. Kyle Smolen has 66 career points (20G, 40A) in his three seasons as a Sun Devil and has a career +7 in the plus/minus category.
Last season, the Sun Devils went 4-1 when Smolen had a multi-point game. On Nov. 22, 2026, against No. 3 Denver, he assisted on all three goals in a 3-2 overtime win over the Pioneers.
As a junior, he posted career-best numbers with 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points, helping the Sun Devils to a second-place finish in the NCHC. He led the ASU sophomore class in points and boasted the sixth-most points on the ASU squad. In his freshman season, Smolen played in 36-of-38 games and went on a three-game point scoring streak from Oct. 20-27, 2023, featuring two goals and one assist.

Sara Svetac - Women's Tennis - Split, Croatia
Svetac is a two-time All-Big 12 first team selection in singles and has compiled a 43-31 singles record in her three seasons as a Sun Devil. Additionally, in doubles, she has a 41-29 record.
As a junior, she went 10-6 in duals and 3-1 in Big 12 play in singles. Svetac primarily played from the No. 2 position as a junior and secured wins over Arizona, BYU, TCU and Baylor.
In her sophomore season, Svetac split time between the No. 1 and No. 2 positions in the lineup and had a seven-match winning streak. Svetac was named Big 12 Player of the Week for her 7-5, 6-4 win over #13 Savannah Broadous (Pepperdine) to clinch the win over #15 Pepperdine.
As a freshman, she earned Pac-12 Honorable Mention honors and went 15-10 in doubles and 11-13 in singles play.

Emilija Tverijonaite - Women's Tennis - Šiauliai, Lithuania
Coming off a career season, Tverijonaite was named Big 12 Player of the Year for going 14-3 during the regular season and 8-2 in conference play in singles. She won 32 matches in singles play, which is the second most by a Sun Devil in a season, helping the team clinch a share of its first Big 12 regular season championship. Tverijonaite was named All-Big 12 first team in singles for the second consecutive year and finished the season No. 34 by the ITA after playing all her matches in the No. 1 spot in the lineup.
In her sophomore season, she qualified for the NCAA singles tournament with a third-place finish at ITA Southwest Regionals. Tverijonaite split time between the No. 1 and 2 spots in the lineup and went 11-9 during the dual season with a 12-9 doubles record.
As a freshman, she had a team-best 15-3 singles record from the No. 4 spot in the lineup and went 21-7 in her first season in Tempe. She was named Pac-12 Honorable mention and was ranked No. 5 in the ITA Newcomer rankings before the start of the 2024 spring season.
Sonia Vaishnani - Women's Swimming - Helotes, Texas
Specializing in breaststroke and the IM in her three seasons in Tempe, Vaishnani is a two time Big 12 champion in the 200 IM (2026) and the 400 IM (2025) and has helped the team win the past two Big 12 team championships. The Texas native has appeared in the last two NCAA Championships, competing in the 200 IM, 400 IM and the 200 fly. Vaishnani is a two time All-Big 12 honor roll selection.

Anna Viglione - Lacrosse - Ashburn, Va.
Viglione has solidified herself as one of the top draw specialists in the nation. As a junior, she was the program’s first IWLCA All-American after earning USA Lacrosse and IL Women's All-American honors.
She’s a 10x Big 12 Player of the Week and two-time Big 12 Draw Specialist of the Year.

Montana Warren - Football - Marshall, Texas
Montana played in 11 games in 2025 and in 26 in his Sun Devil career, and the top tackle game was Oct. 25 vs. Houston with seven. He had 40 tackles in 2025, including 25 solo and eight pass breakups and played in all 14 games for the Big 12 champions in 2024, primarily on special teams. He saw increased usage over ASU’s final three games and earned his first career start in the College Football Playoff against Texas in the Peach Bowl.
In 2024, he was among the team leaders with 114 special teams snaps, highlighted by his 46-yard scoop and score on a punt block in a pivotal moment late in the first half in the team’s eventual victory over UCF.
He redshirted in 2023 with just one game played.
Connor Williams - Men's Golf - Escondido, CA
Connor Williams earned honorable mention All-America honors after earning third-team honors in 2025. He has 12 top-10 finishes in his career (four in 2025-26) and five top-five finishes, including a fifth-place spot at the NCAA Bremerton Regional in 2025 and a second-place finish at the 2025 Big 12 Championship. He also earned a first-team All-Big 12 selection in 2025 and 2026. He finished seventh at the 2025 NCAA Championship and won the 15th annual Patriot All-America Invitational in Arizona in December of 2025, as his final round -4 (66) on the Wigwam Golf Club Gold Course earned him the Men’s Division title by six strokes at -14 (196) overall. He was the only Sun Devil to compete in all 16 events. He was co-champion at Wohali Classic (September of 2025) thanks to a 204/-9 performance. He finished season ranked No. 47 in the Scoreboard collegiate golf rankings. Helped Arizona State qualify as the No. 1 seed for match play at the 2025 NCAA Championships. He won his match against Ole Miss’ Cohen Troilo, 3&2, to earn a point for the Sun Devils.
