2013 (Sophomore): Made 27 appearances and started the first Sunday game of the season before moving to the bullpen for the duration of the season...had a stretch of seven scoreless appearances from April 24 to May 10...did not allow an earned run in 20 of his appearances...threw a season-high four innings and struck out a season-high five against Oregon April 7...threw two scoreless innings in a road win over USC April 13...two-time Scholar Baller honoree (Spring '13, Fall '12).

2012 (Freshman):Made 13 appearances, including 10 starts...third on the team with starts and fourth with 39.1 innings pitched...first on the team among true freshmen in innings pitched, appearances and strikeouts...made his first career start vs. UC Riverside on Feb. 25 and gave up two runs on three hits while striking three and walking three in the loss...recorded a season-high seven strikeouts in five innings in a start vs. Utah Valley March 14...earned his first collegiate victory after giving up no earned runs on five hits in five innings in an 8-1 win over USC April 7...struck out five in his first collegiate appearance, as a reliever vs. Western Michigan on Feb. 18.

High School: A 2011 graduate of San Benito High School...earned four varsity letters in baseball, serving as team captain in both his junior and senior season...started all four years of high school...was selected as an All-Tri-County League pick in each of his four seasons...was named his team's MVP in 2010 as well as the Tri-County League's Pitcher of the Year...was the San Benito High School Male Athlete of the Year in 2010 and was a California All-Star pick...played in the 2010 Area Code Games...went undefeated in league play over his career on the mound...missed part of his senior season due to a broken wrist, but returned to pitch in the postseason.
