The Sun Devil track and field team posted an exceptional day of competition Thursday in Austin, Texas.
Arizona State: 2012 Outdoor: Ran his career best 10.34 in the 100m during the Arizona State Invitational... Placed second in the ASU-Arkansas-LSU Tri-Meet 100m event clocking a time of 10.37... Competed in the Pac-12 Championships in the 100m and 200m events clocking 10.41 and 21.09 respectively... Participated in the NCAA West Preliminaries in the 100m, 200m and 4X100m relay..2012 Indoor: Placed second in the MPSF Indoor Track & Field in the 60m with a time of 6.72 and also placing third in the 200m with a time of 21.36... Ran his fastest indoor time in the 60m with a time of 6.63 at the NAU Open...2011 Outdoor:Was a finalist at 100 meters at the Pac-10 Outdoor Championships in his first year of competing for the Sun Devils... clocked a time of 10.50 in the prelimary round, a career best, and went on to finish seventh and scored for the ASU squad at the competition... advanced to the NCAA West Preliminaries in three events (100m, 200m and 4x100m relay)... 2011 Indoor: Placed third in the MPSF Indoor Track & Field Championships in the 200m with a time of 21.55 as well as second in the 60m with a time of 6.84... won first place for the 200m and 60m at the Lumberjack Invitational clocking a 21.52 and 6.76 respectively.
Riverside: Earned his Associate's degree from Riverside Community College (Riverside, Calif.) in Humanities in 2009... competed on the track & field team for two years, the only two years he has competed in the sport... earned six All-America honors... collected two national titles and four conference crowns as a team... won the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay conference titles... ranked No. 1 in the 100m in the California Junior College rankings and was No. 2 in the 200m... also was ranked fifth nationally in the 100m dash among all junior colleges... served as a team captain as well.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Alta Loma High School (Long Beach, Calif.)... lettered in basketball only in high school... earned second-team and honorable mention all-conference honors.
