The Generations of Women Luncheon is being held the Friday before Mother's Day and offers an opportunity for mothers, daughter, sisters, close family and friends to enjoy a lovely lunch while taking home life-changing messages. Sponsorships and tickets are available, please call Kristin Cipolla at 602-432-3161 for more information or visit their website at www.fitbones.org.

AZOC, which is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, was established in order to raise awareness about the impact of osteoporosis on citizens throughout Arizona via education, communication and public activity. Current statistics suggest one in two women over the age of 50 will be diagnosed with the disease during their lifetime, even though it is preventable. Therefore, their efforts are targeted toward educating women and men about positive lifestyle changes that can improve their chances of not being diagnosed with the disease later in life. Additionally, the AZOC encourages the importance of early detection through bone density screenings, and offers complimentary bone mineral density screenings in rural areas of Arizona.
