TEMPE, Ariz. -
Arizona State head women's basketball coach Charli Turner Thorne will hold three basketball camps on the campus of Arizona State University this summer.
The seventh-year Sun Devil mentor, who has led her Sun Devils to a school-record four consecutive postseason appearances, and her coaching staff will direct three camps starting with a team camp June 6-8. The overnight camp is geared toward high school teams (grades 9-12) interested in the opportunity to work on team skills in game situations.
An individual camp for players in grades 6-12 will be held June 16-19. The individual camp is offered as a boarding or non-boarding camp. It is geared toward players interested in playing at the next level with special attention spent on individual offensive moves and defensive strategies that will help players become the best they can be.
Turner Thorne's final camp will be a day camp for players in grades 3-8, which runs from June 23-26. It will feature instruction on basketball fundamentals and on improving already developed skills.
All camps will be run by Arizona State women's basketball coaches and players and will take place on campus, home of the 2001 Pac-10 Champion and 2002 Pac-10 Tournament Champion Sun Devils.
