All four games for the Sun Devils will follow a Major League Spring Training game and will be played at Surprise Stadium, the spring training home for the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers
2013 (Freshman): Made 10 appearances, including one start...threw a season-high five innings and struck out a season-high six in his first career start, a win over then-No. 2 Arkansas...did not pitch from March 17 until May 12 due to injury...threw one scoreless inning with two strikeouts in a win in his first appearance back from injury against Cal May 12...earned Scholar Baller recognition in Spring 2013.
MLB Draft: Was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 37th round (1121st overall) of the 2012 MLB Draft.
High School: Lettered four years in baseball and one in basketball...named team captain all four years in baseball...earned All-State, All-Area and All-Conference honors...named Player of the Year and a Preseason All-American...went 4-0 in the playoffs his senior season with a 0.00 ERA and hit .600 to lead his team to the state title...lists winning the state championship as his most exciting sports moment.
