ASU: Four-year letterman played in 44 games over five years...a weak side linebacker, he accumulated 231 tackles (157 solo) and saw his number of tackles increase each year...totaled 10 sacks for a loss of 85 total yards, and 24.5 tackles for losses with a net loss of 115 yards...had three career interceptions and returned them a total of 56 yards, including one touchdown...had one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and three pass deflections...was a two-sport standout at ASU, as he also was an outfielder for on the Sun Devil baseball team...won consecutive Pac-12 titles and twice went to the College World Series with the baseball team...was taken three separate times in the MLB Draft before he signed a contract to play with the Boston Red Sox following his collegiate football career.

2012: Led the team in tackles with 113 (81 solo) and finished second in the conference at 9.42 tackles per game despite missing one game due to injury...became the first Sun Devil to eclipse 100 tackles in one season since Robert James had 106 in 2007...earned Second Team All-Pac-12 honors...his 81 solo tackles were the sixth most in a single season in school history...returned an interception in the season opener against NAU 45 yards for his first career touchdown...had a season-best 6.5 sacks for a loss of 54 yards to go along with his 12.5 tackles for a loss of 115 yards...one of five players on the team to post double-digit TFL numbers, tied for the most in school history (2000)...forced one fumble and recovered one fumble, had one pass deflection and two total interceptions for with 45 return yards...averaged 9.42 tackles per game...had a Territorial Cup record and season high 17 tackles (14 solo) in his final regular season game to help propel the Sun Devils over Arizona, which helped him receive Pac-12 Player of the Week honors...had 13 tackles against USC (11/10), his previous career high...led team in tackles with 12 against Oregon State (11/3) - nine of which were unassisted...was third on the team in sack totals...led team in tackles against UCLA (10/27) with eight, including a sack...posted eight tackles in loss against Oregon (10/18)...had nine tackles - all solo - to lead the team against Colorado (10/11) and posted two sacks in the tilt...led the team in tackles against Utah (9/22) with 10 while causing a fumble and recovering another...tied for the team lead in tackles against Mizzou (9/15) with 12, including eight solo, and interception in the red zone...was named to Phil Steele's Postseason All-Pac-12 Team...was a team captain.

2011: Sat out season due to an Achilles tear suffered in preseason camp.

2010: Appeared in 11 games this season, starting eleven...second in total tackles behind Vontaze Burfict with 73 (48 solo)...had five tackles for loss for minus 18 yards...started the season off with half a sack for minus four yards against Portland State...lead the team in tackles vs Cal with 11 (five solo) and a sack...three tackles (two solo) and a fumble recovery in 42-0 shutout victory vs Washington State Oct. 30...followed that up the next week with 13 tackles (nine solo) vs Pac-10 foe USC...had season tying, team high 13 tackles (nine solo) to bring the Territorial Cup back to Tempe.

2009: Started the first game of the season and appeared in all 12...finished the season with 34 tackles (21 solo), seven tackles for loss and a pair of sacks...also had an interception and a quarterback hurry on the season...recorded five tackles (four solo), 2.5 tackles for loss, a 10-yard sack and returned an interception for 11 yards in a season-opening win over Idaho State...grabbed five tackles (four solo), a pair of tackles for loss, a 9-yard sack and a quarterback hurry against Washington State Oct. 10...made six tackles (five solo) and 2-yard tackle for loss vs. Louisiana-Monroe Sept. 19...collected four tackles Nov. 14 against Oregon.

2008: Played in eight games as a reserve linebacker and on special teams...recorded 11 tackles (seven solo) on the season...collected five tackles (three solo) in his collegiate debut, a season-opening win over NAU on Aug. 30...had one solo tackle in victory over Stanford on Sept. 6...missed the next four games due to injury...returned to action and made one tackle against Oregon on Oct. 25...had one tackle at Oregon State on Nov. 1...posted a solo tackle in win at Washington on Nov. 8...totaled two tackles in shutout victory over Washington State on Nov. 15.
