(drawings are not final and are subject to design change)

While the Sun Devils play the 2002 season at Hohokam Park in Mesa, a $2 million renovation is scheduled to start in March on Packard Stadium. Phase I of the construction calls for a spacious and state-of-the-art player clubhouse and locker room. The clubhouse will include several player amenities and provide the Sun Devil baseball program with one of the finest player facilities in the nation. A modern entrance complete with a Hall of Fame, new ticket office, concessions and novelty stand will also be constructed to greet fans as they enter to watch Sun Devil baseball. Scheduled completion of Phase I of the construction is scheduled for late Summer, 2002. Phase II, which will involve some fundraising during Phase I, will include a new press box, a covered awning over the bleachers, open-air party suites and several changes to the layout of the baseball field, including a hand operated scoreboard in left field.. If you are interested in donating towards the renovation of Packard Stadium, please contact ASU Associate Athletic Director Charles Sleeper at (480) 727-7707.
