EUGENE, Ore.—Arizona State track and field’s aluma sprinter Charonda Williams (adidas) qualified for the semifinals of the 100m dash at the 2015 USA Track and Field Championships on Thursday at Hayward Field.
Williams ran 11.06, finishing fourth in the second heat and 10th overall, earning one of the four provisional qualifying marks. Williams will run on Friday at 5 p.m. PT, and should she qualify for the finals, that race is scheduled for 7:21 p.m. PT.
In the 400m dash first round, 2015 Second-Team All-American Brianna Tate ran 53.62, 24th overall, while Jasmine Chaney followed in 25th at 53.64.
Two former Sun Devils recorded a top-10 finish in the 10000m finals, with Amy Hastings taking fourth at 32:03.95, and Desiree Davila following in sixth at 32:53.50.
On Friday, 2015 All-American Bryan McBride will compete in the high jump finals at 5:40 p.m. PT, while fellow 2015 All-American Shelby Houlihan will run in the first round of the 1500m run at 5:55 p.m. PT.
