Quotes
Redshirt senior Michael Ohakwe
“I felt like I did all right today. I can throw really far in practice, I just need to learn how to translate it to the competition, but this was a good series for me today. I’m really healthy this year, and I’m really excited for what I can do as the season goes on.”

Redshirt freshman Magdalyn Ewen
“I think it all went really well today. It was kind of an odd set-up for us, throwing the hammer and discus in the same day, but I think all the competitors did well, and it’s been a really good meet so far. The biggest challenge of going back-to-back was probably wanted to support the guys when they threw. At some point you have to just be like, okay, I’m supporting you in my heart as I warm up for my event. I hope that tomorrow goes just as well as today did as I compete in the shot put.”
