The Arizona State men's basketball team has placed two players on the Pac-10 All-Academic Team this year. Junior Justin Allen (Malta, Ill.) and senior Shawn Redhage (Lincoln, Neb.) both earned the honor, as Redhage earned the first-team accolades for a third time while Allen was an honorable mention pick last year.
It marked the first time that ASU has had two first-team All-Academic selections.
Redhage has a 3.61 grade point average in construction science while Allen, the 2003 V Foundation Comeback Player of the Year recipient, has a 3.46 grade point average in justice studies and will graduate this May.
Also earning first-team honors were Joe Kirchofer (Stanford), Nick Robinson (Stanford) and Amit Tamir (Caliornia).
