ASU Men's Golf Faces Tough Competition At Las Vegas Event

TEMPE - The Arizona State men's golf team will compete against nine ranked teams at the Southern Highland Collegiate Masters March 11-13 in Las Vegas, Nev. The three-day, 54-hole tournament takes place at the 7,510-yard, par-72 Southern Highlands Golf Club and each of the three 18-hole rounds will tee off at 8 a.m. (PST)/ 9 a.m. (MST).

Senior Jesper Kennegard won the 2010 Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters with a 3-over par 219 (71-72-76), helping ASU to a sixth-place finish. The Sun Devils won the event in 2004, placed fifth in both 2005 and 2006, and took seventh in 2008.
