ANCHORAGE, Alaska– The Arizona State University hockey team will play the first NCAA Division I games in program history this weekend as it travels to Anchorage, Alaska, to compete in the Kendall Hockey Classic hosted by the University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves. ASU will play the Seawolves and the University of Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks. The St. Cloud State Huskies will also participate.

Last Time Out For The Sun Devils
ASU began its NCAA history with an exhibition 8-1 victory over Arizona of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). Sevin different Sun Devils had a goal, including two by freshman forward Jordan Masters. Freshman defenseman Joey Raats had three assists and two goalies saw time for the Sun Devils. Junior Robert Levin faced only three shots and allowed the only goal and freshman Ryland Pashovitz had six saves.
Powers On The First Road Trip

Against Alaska
Sun Devil Hockey has never played either Alaska Anchorage or Alaska Fairbanks. It will be the first time any Sun Devil team in any sport has visited Alaska since men's basketball in 2010.
