TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State University (24-9) will play the Temple University Owls (22-11) in first-round action of the 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship on Friday, March 20th at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.
Each NCAA member institution in the 65-team field is allotted up to 550 tickets to the first round session in which they participate. The cost is $76 per ticket for the session in which ASU participates.
That allotment of 550 tickets will be distributed to ASU basketball season ticket holders, which includes donors, ASU Faculty/Staff and ASU Students. A portion of this allotment will also be utilized by ASU coaches, team members, and their families and administrative staff.
If tickets remain on Tuesday, they will go on sale to the general public.
Interested season ticket holders can place their request for tickets by calling the Sun Devil athletic ticket office, beginning Monday, March 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition, season ticket holders received an NCAA ticket order form in the mail and may send their order in via facsimile to the ASU Athletic Ticket Office. The FAX number is on the form.
