Arkansas: Attended the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville, Ark.) for one year before transferring to Arizona State... was a member of the track & field team for one season.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Bartlett High School (Anchorage, Alaska)... lettered four times in track & field, twice in basketball and once in cross country... captained the track & field team all four years... holds the state record in the 200m and 400m... named the 2007 Gatorade Athlete of the Year for Alaska... four-time team MVP... named regional MVP twice and state MVP once.
