Dear Colleagues:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the hard work and dedication you have shown to Arizona State University. Your efforts have and will continue to make a difference in our campus community.
In appreciation of your efforts, the University has reserved an allotment of complimentary tickets for you and your immediate family to attend our men's basketball game tomorrow night, Tuesday, March 25, against the University of Florida in the quarterfinals of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). The game tips off at 6 p.m. in Wells Fargo Arena.
To attend the game, please follow the steps below:
1. Take your Sun Card, or most recent pay stub, to the Sun Devil Ticket Office Monday until 5:00 p.m. or Tuesday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., or to the Wells Fargo Arena Box Office Tuesday beginning at 4:30 p.m.
2. Complimentary tickets are available to you and your immediate family.
3. Seat locations will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Visit the Ticket Office early to ensure your ticket, obtain the best location and avoid long lines on game day.
4. Attend the game. Wear Gold and cheer loudly to support our Sun Devils.
The men's team under Coach Herb Sendek is having a great year with 21 wins including a sweep of the season series against Arizona. The team won its first two games in the NIT and will play last years National Champion, Florida, in the Quarterfinals Tuesday evening in Wells Fargo Arena. This kind of effort deserves our support.
Also, after winning its opening round game in the NCAA Tournament, the women's basketball team, under Head Coach Charli Turner Thorne, advances to play Duke Tuesday night in College Park, Maryland. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 at 4 p.m. local time.
ASU's varsity student-athletes are having a remarkable semester. Both the men's and women's indoor track teams won National titles and the baseball and softball teams are ranked #1 in the country.
