GAME 25 (MAR. 11, 2021) -- OREGON 91, ASU 73 AT PAC-12 TOURNAMENT (LAS VEGAS): Despite Alonzo Verge Jr. posting a season high in scoring for the second time in as many days, the Sun Devil men's basketball team (No. 8 seed) was not able to extend its season, falling to the top seed Oregon 91-73 in the quarterfinal round of the Pac-12 Tournament. After scoring 19 of his 26 points in the second half of ASU's 64-59 win over Washington State in Wednesday's first round game, Verge put up a game-high 28 points vs. Oregon. The senior just missed a double-double with a game-high eight rebounds to go with four assists. Remy Martin scored all 16 of his points in the second half and also led the team with five assists to go with four rebounds. Combined with Verge's 19 points, Martin and Verge combined to score 35 of ASU's 46 points over the last 20 minutes. The Sun Devils were without Josh Christopher (back) and Marcus Bagley (ankle).

GAME 24 (MAR. 10, 2021) -- ASU 64, WASHINGTON  STATE 59 AT PAC-12 TOURNAMENT (LAS VEGAS): Alonzo Verge Jr. scored 19 of his season-high 26 points in the second half, including what proved to be the game-winning basket with 11 seconds remaining in the64-59 win over Washington State in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament. Kimani Lawrence had 13 points, Jalen Graham added nine points and Jaelen House came through with a strong all-around performance with eight points and led or tied for the team lead in rebounds (six), assists (five) and steals (three). Graham and Verge tied House with six rebounds and Remy Martin scored six points and tied for the team lead with three steals.

GAME 23 (MAR. 6, 2021) -- @UTAH 98, ASU 59: ASU fell at Utah 98-59 in the regular-season finale, snapping its two-game winning streak in Salt Lake City. Three Sun Devils scored in double figures led by Alonzo Verge Jr. and Holland Woods, who scored 13 points each. Jalen Graham added 11 points for the Sun Devils (10-13, 7-10). Jaelen House, who scored nine points, led ASU's rebounding effort with seven boards. Remy Martin added eight points and led the team in assists (four) and had two steals. The Sun Devils struggled from the floor, knocking down only 38 percent of their shots and 23 percent of their attempts from long range. Averaging 7.5 triples coming into the game, the Sun Devils were only able to knock down three 3-pointers. The Utes (11-12, 8-11) connected on 59 percent of their shots, and shot 58.6 percent in the first half and 59.5 percent in the second half.

GAME 22 (MAR. 4, 2021) -- @#24 COLORADO 75, ASU 61: The Sun Devil men's basketball team got a great start and was down 31-30 at No. 24 Colorado, but the Buffaloes held ASU to just .300 shooting in the second half to win 75-61 in Boulder. Holland Woods led the Sun Devils with 15 points while Jaelen House had 13 off the bench, as ASU jumped out to a six-point lead nine minutes into the game, but CU used a 44-28 rebounding advantage to outscore ASU 44-31 in the second half. Kimani Lawrence added 10 points while Marcus Bagley, playing for the first time since Jan. 30, had seven rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench. ASU made 14-of-16 (.875) from the free throw line to hang close and led for 17:45 of the game.

GAME 21 (FEB. 27, 2021) -- ASU 77, WASHINGTON  STATE 74 (OT): A fantastic overtime game had a great Sun Devil ending as Remy Martin hit a three with 0.4 seconds to lift ASU to the win over Washington State. Martin ended with 23 points, while Kimani Lawrence had 14. Jalen Graham added 11 points, 12 rebounds (six on offense) and four blocks, while Alonzo Verge Jr. had nine points, a career-high nine assists and six rebounds. Jaelen House had 10 points off the bench ASU was without Marcus Bagley (ankle) and Josh Christopher (back).

GAME 20 (FEB. 25, 2021) -- ASU 80, WASHINGTON 72: Remy Martin had 31 points but was actually overshadowed by Kimani Lawrence's 21 points and 20 rebounds, the first 20/20 game by a Sun Devils in 23 seasons, as ASU closed on an 8-0 run to top Washington in their second game against the Huskies in three days. Alonzo Verge added 13 points (including making all six free throws) and added seven assists as ASU shot 9-of-11 (.818) at the free throw line in the second half to seal the win. ASU outrebounded the Huskies 38-37, won despite getting no bench points, outscored the Huskies 40-30 in the paint and 23-11 in points off turnovers, as ASU forced 14. There were 11 lead changes and nine ties and the final eight-point margin was the largest of the game. ASU was without Marcus Bagley (ankle), Jaelen House (back) and Josh Christopher (back).

GAME 19 (FEB. 23, 2021) -- ASU 97, WASHINGTON 64: Kimani Lawrence matched career highs in points (22) and rebounds (12), Remy Martin had his sixth straight 20-point game (26) and ASU notched its largest Pac-12 win in six seasons. Martin (16 points), Lawrence (10 points) and Alonzo Verge Jr. (nine points) accounted for 35 points and combined to shoot 57 percent (13-of-23 ) over the first 20 minutes. The Sun Devils were never seriously threatened after using a 17-3 run over the last 5:17 of the first half to take a 49-29 halftime lead. Verge (seven assists) and Martin (six assists) combined for 13 of ASU's 19 assists while Jaelen House led the team with a game-high four steals as ASU had a dozen. The Sun Devils forced the Huskies into committing twice as many turnovers (16-8) and converted those miscues into 23 points. The Sun Devils were without injured players Marcus Bagley (ankle), Josh Christopher (back) and Jalen Graham (non-COVID illness).

GAME 18 (FEB. 20, 2021) -- UCLA 80, ASU 79: One of the toughest losses in recent Sun Devil history happened as UCLA  rebounded its own shot with less than two seconds left, was fouled and made one free throw as the Bruins led for one second the whole game. ASU led 41-34 at the half and made 10-of-20 (.500) from three and was 13-of-17 (.765) from the free throw line. There was just one tie as ASU led for 37:48 behind Remy Martin's 25 points, which included five three-pointers. Alonzo Verge Jr. and Kimani Lawrence each added 18 points, while Lawrence had nine rebounds. ASU again was without Marcus Bagley (ankle) and Josh Christopher (back).

GAME 17 (FEB. 17, 2021) -- #17 USC 89, ASU 71: ASU held up against the big Trojans for 35 minutes behind Remy Martin's 30 points on 12-of-19 shooting (4-of-5 three pointers), but the Mobley brothers were just too mich as they combined for 42 points and 21 rebounds. ASU trailed by nine with under four minutes left but USC stopped and then scored in the final minutes to put the game away. ASU shot .563 (18-of-32) from the field in the first half and trailed 46-44, but the Trojans ended up shooting .545 (36-of-66)  and outscored ASU 44-24 in the paint while notching 21 assists and just 10 turnovers. Kimani Lawrence added 12 points and six rebounds while Jalen Graham added 10 points in just 18 minutes due to foul trouble. ASU again was without Marcus Bagley (ankle) and Josh Christopher (back).

GAME 16 (FEB. 14, 2021) -- ASU 75, OREGON STATE 73: Arizona State jumped out to leads of 9-0 and 19-4 and never trailed as Remy Martin had 23 points and Alonzo Verge Jr. added 15 in the win. Jalen Graham matched career highs in points (14) and rebounds (11), while Holland Woods added 10. ASU forced 15 turnovers and committed just eight, leading to a 26-2 points after turnovers advantage for ASU. ASU also outscored the Beavers on the fast break 18-0. ASU was without Marcus Bagley (ankle) and Josh Christopher (back).

GAME 15 (FEB. 11, 2021) -- OREGON 75, ASU 64: Oregon never trailed, the game was only tied twice and it led ASU by 17 with just 8:12 left, but ASU cut it to seven with the ball under four minutes but couldn't get any closer. Remy Martin had 30 points, but Oregon forced 14 turnovers and committed only 12 and led in points of turnovers 21-12 and points in the paint 30-20. ASU outrebounded Oregon 43-42 as Kimani  Lawrence had a career-high 12. Marcus Bagley and Chris Osten both missed the game due to ankle injuries, while Josh Christopher played through a leg bruise and then hurt his back on a block in the first half and played only 17 minutes.

GAME 14 (JAN. 30, 2021) -- ASU 79, STANFORD 75:  In one of the better games of the year, Stanford led by seven early and ASU led by nine in the second half but ASU held on for the close win, led by 20 points off Stanford turnovers and 15-of-17 (.882) free throw shooting. Stanford made 31-of-34 (.912) from the fee throw line to never go away, but Remy Martin's 23 points and six assists were too much to overcome for the Cardinal. Josh Christopher added 15 points, while Marcus Bagley, Jalen Graham and Jaelen House added a dozen points each. ASU had a dozen steals and outscored the bigger Cardinal in the paint 38-34. ASU held Stanford to just 2-of-15 (.133) from the three-point stripe.

GAME 13 (JAN. 28, 2021) -- ASU 72, CALIFORNIA 68 ASU jumped out to a 12-point lead early, trailed by one at the half, but outscored Cal 43-38 in the second half to get its second Pac-12 win behind 19 points from Remy Martin and 22 solid hustling minutes from sophomore Jaelen House, who posted three steals and six points and played 16 minutes in the second half. Jalen Graham had 12 points, Josh Christopher added 11 while Marcus Bagley (9/5/4) and Kimani Lawrence (9/8) had solid games. ASU shot 50 percent and held Cal to .393 (24-of-61). ASU outscored the bigger Bears 44-30 in the paint, 20-10 in points off turnovers and 19-8 on fast breaks.

GAME 12 (JAN. 25, 2021) -- ARIZONA 80, ARIZONA STATE 67: Arizona jumped out early and often and raced to a 40-18 halftime lead and led by as many as 26, but ASU cut it to nine late. Remy Martin led ASU with 24 points, while Jalen Graham had career bests in points (14) and rebounds (11). ASU was 8-of-35 (.229) from the field in the first half, had seven shots blocked and was outrebounded 40-30. ASU's first points were at the 13:16 mark as it fell behind 12-0 and 32-8 (4:41)  as it shot  8-of-35 (.229) in the first half.

GAME 11 (JAN. 21, 2021) -- ARIZONA 84, ARIZONA STATE 82: A wild game that ended with an Arizona tip in off an airball three-pointer game Arizona the win despite ASU shooting a season-best .524 from three (11-of-21) for the game, 18-of-21 (.857) from the free throw line in the second half and scoring 52 second-half points. There were 13 lead changes and 10 ties as Arizona jumped out to an 11-point lead late in the first half and ASU led by seven with 4:42 remaining. Remy Martin (six assists) and Josh Christopher (three steals) led ASU with 18 points each. Arizona made 7-of-11 (.636) three-pointers in the first half. Jalen Graham in his first game since Dec. 16 (mononucleosis) had 10 points and three blocks in 24 minutes (+14) off the bench. ASU committed a season high 16 turnovers. (NOTE: Taeshon Cherry missed the game due to personal reasons and would miss the four games following)

GAME 10 (JAN. 16, 2021) -- OREGON STATE 80, ASU 79: In a game that had 20 lead changes and 17 ties, Oregon State got the last one as a bucket with four seconds left gave it the win. ASU outscored OSU 46-28 in the paint, shot 50 percent (28-of-56) from the field, posted a season-high 22 assists, only had four turnovers and made 18-of-23 (.783) of its free throws. Marcus Bagley led the way with 19 points, while Remy Martin and Josh Christopher added 14 each with Martin matching a career-high with eight assists. Chris Osten added 12 points and seven rebounds while Alonzo Verge Jr. had a career-best eight assists. (NOTE: Jalen Graham missed the game due to mononucleosis, while Taeshon Cherry missed the game due to personal reasons.)

GAME 9 (JAN. 9, 2021) -- USC 73, ASU 64: USC topped Arizona State 73-64 at Desert Financial Arena in a Saturday evening game that saw ASU trail by 18 and come back to the take the lead. In a second straight game without guard Jaelen House, forwards Taeshon Cherry and Jalen Graham and preseason All-America guard Remy Martin, the Sun Devils fell into a deep hole in the first half against the 8-2 Trojans, trailing 36-18 with 2:08 remaining. Guard Holland Woods and the Sun Devils came roaring back, closing the half on a 14-0 run and eventually taking a two-point lead at the 8:52 mark after a pair of Marcus Bagley free throws. Woods and fellow guard Alonzo Verge Jr. led the way in scoring for the Sun Devils with 18 and 17 points, respectively. Freshman forward Marcus Bagley was key on the defensive end, securing 13 rebounds and blocked two shots.  (NOTE: Jalen Graham missed the game due to mononucleosis, Taeshon Cherry and Jaelen House were out due to COVD-19 protocols and Remy Martin missed the game to attend his grandfather's funeral.)

GAME 8 (JAN. 7, 2021) -- UCLA 81, ASU 75 (OT): After a 21-day layoff ASU lost a tough 81-75 overtime game to UCLA late without Jalen Graham (mononucleosis), Jaelen House and Taeshon Cherry (COVID-19 protocols) and Remy Martin (grandfather funeral). Alonzo Verge Jr. led ASU with 25 points and seven rebounds, while Josh Christopher added 22 points and 11 rebounds and Marcus Bagley 11 points and 11 rebounds in his first action since Dec. 3. There were 19 ties and six lead changes, but the lack of ASU depth was too much to overcome as two Sun Devils fouled out (only one Bruin had four fouls) and UCLA's bench outscored ASU's 25-4. ASU had four players notch at least 41 minutes. (NOTE: Jalen Graham missed the game due to mononucleosis, Taeshon Cherry and Jaelen were out due to COVD-19 protocols and Remy Martin missed the game to attend his grandfather's funeral.)

GAME 7 (DEC. 16, 2020) -- UTEP 76, ASU 63: A 41-33 halftime lead vanished two minutes into the second half as the Miners outscored ASU 43-22 after recess. ASU was just 1-of-18 from the three-point stripe for the game (0-of-11 in the second half), and just 9-of-31 (.290) from the field after halftime. Josh Christopher led ASU with 24 points, as ASU forced 20 turnovers but was outrebounded 46-26. (NOTE: Marcus Bagley missed the game due to a lower leg injury.)

GAME 6 (DEC. 13, 2020) -- #23 ASU 71, @GRAND CANYON 70: Grand Canyon led 30-29 at the half and recaptured the lead 70-68 on a three-pointer with 30 seconds remaining, but they got "Remy-ed" as Remy Martin hit the game winning three with nine seconds remaining. ASU defended the final shot to run its non-conference road record to 8-2 under Bobby Hurley, the second-best mark in the nation. Martin led ASU with 31 points, including 23 in the second half when he was 9-of-13 from the floor and made all three of his three-pointers. Josh Christopher added 11 points while Holland Woods had 10 off the bench. ASU shot .548 (17-of-31) from the field in the second half including 6-of-10 from the three-point stripe. (NOTE: Marcus Bagley missed the game due to a lower leg injury.)

GAME 5 (DEC. 10, 2020) -- #24 SAN DIEGO STATE 80, #23 ASU 68: SDSU held ASU to 20-of-58 (.345) from the field and ASU had just seven two-point field goals in a game that saw SDSU outscore ASU 36-8 in the paint. ASU led 43-41 with the ball with just over 15 minutes left, but SDSU went on a 13-0 run and never looked back. Marcus Bagley sat out after injuring his lower leg late against Cal, as Alonzo Verge Jr. led ASU with 25 points (7-of-14 from three), while Josh Christopher added 13 points as he was perfect in eight free throw attempts. SDSU posted 45 second-half points, led by as many as 20 (3:08) and held the lead for more than 34 minutes in a game that saw only three lead changes. (NOTE: Marcus Bagley missed the game due to a lower leg injury.)

GAME 4 (DEC. 3, 2020) -- #25 ASU 70, @CALIFORNIA 62: With Alonzo Verge Jr. back in Tempe, Remy Martin (22 points) and Josh Christopher (14 points) led the scoring while Holland Woods hit a trio of three-pointers off the bench to help the Sun Devils top pesky Cal at Haas Pavilion in the earlier-than-usual Pac-12 opener. ASU shot 50 percent from the floor (26-of-52), 12-of-16 (.750) from the free throw line (including making all six in the second half) and forced 20 Cal turnovers. The Sun Devils got 22 points from their bench (Cal had six bench points) and Martin's efficiency (8-of-11 from field and 6-of-7 from free throw line) led the Sun Devils to notching a Pac-12 opening win for just the 12th time in 43 seasons. ASU has now won six straight vs. Cal, four straight at Haas and is 11-4 vs. the Bears since January of 2013. ASU opened Pac-12 play for the tenth time in the past 14 seasons. Some other hidden numbers from the win: Marcus Bagley with a team-high seven rebounds, holding Matt Bradley to 1-of-9 from three, Taeshon Cherry with a +9 in under 20 minutes despite scoring just three points, Remy Martin drawing seven fouls and ASU holding Cal to 1-of-11 from three in the second half. GAME 3 (NOV. 29, 2020) -- #18 ASU 100, HOUSTON BAPTIST 77: The Sun Devils went on a 31-3 run over a span of 6:09 to top the Huskies 100-77. In that 31-point run, ASU went 11-for-15 and had four offensive rebounds to allow the team to score on every possession. The Sun Devils made five 3-pointers, two from sophomore Jaelen House and two from freshman Marcus Bagley, and had nine assists. House went into the half with 11 points. In that span, he made all three 3-pointers he attempted, drained a pair of free throws and swiped two steals for a ridiculous plus-30 over 10 minutes of play. Bagley had 13 points in the half and finished with a team-high 21 points. He had four 3-pointers, all in the first half, to contribute to ASU’s 12 total. ASU led by as much as 45 and Kimani Lawrence scored 13 off the bench in his season debut after missing the first two games of the season while continuing to rehab from his offseason knee surgery. Christopher finished with 17 points, nine in the second half, and shot 8-for-11 from the field. (NOTE: Alonzo Verge Jr. missed the game due to COVID protocol).

GAME 2 (NOV. 26, 2020 AT EMPIRE CLASSIC) -- #3 VILLANOVA 83, #18 ASU 74: Villanova controlled the tempo and pace in the final 25 minutes turning a 31-29 lead with just over five minutes to go into a 41-32 halftime lead and eventually a 17-point lead late. ASU cut it to 49-43 with under 15 minutes and had the ball, but an ASU missed three-pointer and a made Wildcat three pushed the lead to nine and it would get no closer. Josh Christopher led ASU with 28 points while Alonzo Verge added 22 and a team-high seven rebounds. Villanova outrebounded ASU 43-27. (NOTE: Kimani Lawrence missed this game due to having knee surgery in the fall).

GAME 1 (NOV. 25, 2020 AT EMPIRE CLASSIC) -- ASU 94, RHODE ISLAND 88: ASU jumped out to a 40-24 lead with just under six minutes to play but Rhode Island closed the half on a 17-8 run and then took the lead with just under 12 minutes to play before the Sun Devils closed out the game on a 10-3 run. URI led 85-84 with just under five minutes but ASU got a Remy Martin (26 points) layup, a Chris Osten putback three-point play, three free throws by Marcus Bagley (16 points) and a steal and layup by Holland Woods to seal the game. ASU had five players in double figures and posted 28 bench points in a game that had nine ties and 14 lead changes. (NOTE: Kimani Lawrence missed this game due to having knee surgery in the fall).
