2013 (Sophomore):
In the summer prior to the 2013 season, Palmer was selected as a member of the USA Volleyball Jr. National Team that finished 17th in the 2013 FIVB World Championship in Brno, Czech Republic.
2012 (Freshman):
Played the season as the starting setter. Posted her first career double-double against Idaho State with 50 assists and 13 digs. Finished the season tied for a team best 10 double-doubles with fellow freshman Macey Gardner, her final double-double coming in the NCAA Tournament against Oklahoma with 52 assists and 12 digs. At the end of the season Palmer reset both the ASU single-season assist record and the freshman assist record with 1482 assists. Averaged 11.5 assists per set and pitched in with 271 digs through the season. Named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team for her first conference honor.
High School:
Listed as a Top-50 recruit nationally by PrepVolleyball.com, Palmer hails from Laguna Beach High School where she played for head coach Lance Stewart. She led the team to the Orange Coast League Championship in 2009 and 2010, picking up All-League First Team honors in consecutive years. During her high school campaign she has also earned All-League Second-Team (2008) and was selected to the All-CIF Southern Section Division IA (2010). Played for club team Laguna Beach VBC out of California for coach Michael Soylular.
Personal:
Majoring in accountancy. Daughter of Sylvain and Rosemary Palmer, her full name is Allison Margaret Palmer. Has one brother, Andrew, and one sister Alexandra. Brother plays golf at Cornell and sister plays volleyball at Minnesota.
