- A 2015 graduate, Unzue was the U18 Spanish Championship MVP in 2014.
- In 2014, she was also named the U18s Best Blocker of Madrid, while in 2013 she was named Best Player and Best Attacker of Madrid.
Personal:
The daughter of Jaime and Belen Unzue, Carmen has one brother, Jamie. She intends to major in biology with a minor in nursing at Arizona State.
