Jaryna English

Jaryna has been with Sun Devil Triathlon as a volunteer assistant coach since 2019, and brings over 10 years of experience coaching age group triathletes, athletes and professionals at training camps and triathlon races.  As a lifelong athlete, in her earlier years, she was a competitive swimmer, three-time state champion in cross country, and a top-tier field hockey player with eight years in top-division teams.  As an adult she has ranked top in state and nationally in everything from run road races, 5ks, half marathon, bike road racing, mountain biking and everything in between. Her 15-year triathlon career is highlighted by two age group 70.3 World Championships podiums coming second in 2013 and third in 2014. She has multiple overall AG wins in Olympic and 70.3 competitions including a personal best 4:37 half ironman time. English earned back-to-back north American AG 70.3 championship titles in 2014 and 2015 at St. George (UT) .
