ASU: Totaled 25 games played over two year after transferring from junior college...Racked up a combined 29 tackles (19 solo) over his two years with one forced fumble...blocked two punts in 2012...is the younger brother of former UCLA All-American and NFL linebacker Akeem Ayers.2012: Played in 12 games at safety and on special teams...blocked two punts...his first came in the first quarter against Oregon State (11/3) and led to a safety...his second came against Arizona (11/23) with the score tied in the fourth quarter and led to a rushing touchdown the following play to put ASU up 34-27 with just over five minutes to play...had 14 tackles (eight solo) to go along with his two tackles for loss and a forced fumble.

2011: Solid first year player who rotated in every game...had career high three tackles in Oct. 1 win over Oregon State...forced fumble Nov. 5 at UCLA.

Junior College: Played at Pasadena (Calif.) City College as a junior college freshman before transferring to West Los Angeles (Calif.) College...starred on defense and special teams...played linebacker, free safety and strong safety during his two-year junior college career and will begin at safety at ASU...looks to follow a strong Sun Devil tradition of former junior college safeties to recently excel at ASU including Eddie Elder, Max Tabach, Jarrell Holman, Troy Nolan and Zach Catanese...a sound tackler with the ability to make plays near or behind the line of scrimmage...collected 54 tackles, four pass breakups, two interceptions and two forced fumbles in nine games for West Los Angeles in 2010...played both safety positions...totaled 59 tackles (37 solo), 12.5 tackles-for-loss, 5.0 sacks, three forced fumbles, two pass breakups, two quarterback hurries, one fumble recovery and one interception returned 21 yards for a score in 10 games as a freshman at Pasadena City College in 2009...primarily played linebacker...posted at least five tackles in seven of 10 games on the year...had a game-high eight total tackles as well as 1.5 tackles-for-loss, 1.0 sack, one forced fumble and an interception returned for a touchdown in the season-opener against Mt. High School: Graduated from Lynwood (Calif.)
