TEMPE, Ariz.—Sun Devil Athletics unveiled an online camera, Tuesday, to give fans a front-row seat to watch real time construction on Sun Devil Stadium.
The camera, powered by Hunt Construction, is affixed the north end zone and will give Sun Devil Nation an inside look of the ongoing construction within Sun Devil Stadium.
“The reinvention of Sun Devil Stadium would not exist without the support of our fans,” said Ray Anderson, Vice President for University Athletics. “Sun Devil Athletics is excited to provide an inside look throughout the construction process and to have Sun Devil Nation experience all the upcoming, dynamic changes to our iconic stadium.”
The stadium reinvention is currently in Phase I of construction, which will create a “Double Inferno” student section in the north end zone and a new student seating area in the south end zone that is integrated into the lower bowl. Also, Phase I will improve air circulation, provide upgraded restrooms and concessions and allow for better traffic flow. Construction on the north end zone is scheduled to be completed by the start of the 2015 Sun Devil football season.
