One of seven 125-pound wrestlers fighting for the starting spot… 2002-03: Was 1-5 overall in spot duty at two weights…went 1-4 at 125 and 0-1 at 133…lost twice to nationally ranked foes in dual competition…lone win was a fall at the All-California Open.
High School:
A 1999 graduate of Coconino High School in Flagstaff…lettered twice in wrestling and was the team captain during his final season…finished second at the Doc Wright Invitational and third at the Moon Valley Invitational…helped coach the sophomore team that nearly won a regional title.
