The Devils won the opening game of the series 6-4 in 17 innings in the second-longest game in ASU baseball history before outscoring the Bears 11-0 in the next two games (5-0, 6-0). Coach Esmay is 8-1 in his three years at ASU and ASU has not lost a series to Cal since dropping 2-of-3 in 2007.
^-Some wins in 2007 later vacated due to NCAA sanctions. Records do not reflect vacations.

Marrero (2010-12) is the fourth former Sun Devil in the 2012-13 school year to earn a degree after their collegiate playing days after Chris Bando (1975-78), Austin Barnes (2009-11) and Colin Curtis (2004-06).
